Being a provider is an incredible and rewarding experience. As a provider, you will get to work with families through milestones, achievements, and day-to-day life.
At Absolute HCBS, we are focused on making sure that you find a family to work with that is the right fit for you. It’s important to us that you can enjoy the work you are doing daily.
We pay top rates and strive to treat our team like family.

What will an average day look like?
A typical day will vary based on your client’s needs and goals.
A day with one client may begin at his home where you receive him off the bus and help him get a light snack. After a brief break, you may engage him in a variety of goals which often include things such as shoe tying, hand washing, simple chores, or sharing with others. The day may finish with a break playing video games, watching a movie, or going for a walk together.
A day with a different client might include sitting next to her while she is in her wheelchair and the two of you laugh at a show on tv. You will help her handle a spoon to bring food to her mouth and at times use relaxation techniques to calm her if she gets overly excited.
Some days may go smoothly, while other days you may encounter resistance. You will use your patience, kindness, and redirection along with other skills we will help you learn, to guide your client through the goals.
The range is wide, but the heart of each service is the same.
